Carrie B., President and CEO of Bay Federal Credit Union in Santa Cruz, CA, decided it would be special to watch all of the Season 9 TV shows with her 8 1/2 year old daughter Isabella, taping episodes if needed.

Isabella says she was especially touched by the background stories shared by the singers and “it didn’t take very long to get into it.” Her favorite finalists were Lee Dewyze and Katie Stevens, and she also loved watching performances by Crystal Bowersox, Tim Urban and Aaron Kelly.

Season 9 American Idol tickets put up for bid at local Scotts Valley Rotary Club auction

When tickets for the 2010 live tour became available, Carrie B. bought extras for friends and a few to donate to an annual fundraising auction held by the Rotary Club of Scotts Valley, of which she is a member. Those tickets were bid on by incoming Rotary club president Georganna Hildebrand and her husband Andy of Antares Audio Technologies of Scotts Valley.
